On 2–3 June, AdVIC participated in the Victim Support Europe Annual Conference 2025 in Paris. Under this year’s theme, “The Frontliners: Functional, Funded, Future-Ready”. Victim Support Europe, together with its host partner, France Victimes, brought together victim support organisations, professionals, and advocates from across Europe to discuss developments and challenges in victim support.
The conference took place at a significant time, as Europe prepares for the adoption of the revised Victims’ Rights Directive in 2026. It provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress made in strengthening victims’ rights, examine the challenges that remain, learn from international practice, and build stronger connections with organisations working to improve support for victims of crime.
We are greatful for the opportunity to be part of theese important discussions on victims’ rights and the development of effective support services.
