The Department of Justice has announced a public consultation on the reform of the Coroner Service which will take place later this year.
This consultation aims to gather public perspectives on various aspects of the coronial service and will be vital in identifying how the Coroner Service will operate in the future.
To support the consultation process the Department of Justice has established an Advisory Committee that will include various experts. The Department of Justice is also seeking input from members of the public who have had experience with the coronial service.

The Advisory Committee is set to meet four times during the consultation periods, with the first meeting in early September.
